About us

Formed in 1928 the Rotary Club of Scunthorpe is one of the oldest in Britain and Ireland. We meet together regularly on a social basis and with the aim of helping communities – locally, nationally and, through Rotary International, people overseas who are less fortunate than ourselves.

Fund raising events and hands-on projects (which usually have an element of fun!) are spread throughout the year and are tempered with cultural visits and outings undertaken purely for pleasure. Our largest regular events are the twice-yearly charity Crafts & Collectables Fayres, and the Scunthorpe Festival of Christmas Trees held in support of our local hospice.

Meetings are normally held every Tuesday lunch time at The Wortley House Hotel, Scunthorpe.
